Jensen Beach is committed to offering exceptional education. With new school buildings, alternative school options, adult and special education programs, there are plenty of ways to complete or further education. The Martin County School System is home to 11 elementary schools, 4 middle schools and 3 high schools. J.D. Parker Elementary School of Science, Math and Technology offers a hands-on approach to learning and was rated a five star school. Port Salerno Elementary recently built a new school building that includes a new physical education complex. Spectrum Junior and Senior High School is an alternative to traditional teaching. The school works as a preventative program helping students graduate to achieve success. A variety of private schools are also available in Martin County.

For adults seeking higher education, Indian River State College provides the opportunity. Free Adult Education courses are offered to provide GED preparation. Earn an Associate of Arts degree and transfer to a University or earn Technical Certificates for high-demand technical careers. Custom-designed training for Jensen Beach businesses is provided at IRSC’s Chastain Center in Stuart. IRSC is recognized as one of the top community colleges in Florida. IRSC Associate in Arts degree graduates have earned high passing rates on the College Academic Skills Test for over ten years. Associates in Science degree graduates consistently achieve 100 percent passing rates on state and national licensure exams and have jobs waiting at graduation. The college also offers Dual Enrollment programs for ambitious High School students. Florida Atlantic University in Port St. Lucie has over 20 programs including Undergraduate and Graduate degrees.
